If you will be usering a win2003 Server then its simple, specilay if its on a domain. All u will need to do is create a folder on your drive on the server, share it, and then mapp the path on of the shared folder , eg - \xyz_ServerProfiles. on the profile tab of the user a/c's. thats all this creates a roaming profile for the user and there after the users profile will e accessible from any PC,. Hope this helps.

I need urgent help. I am currently on a project where i have to configure 10 xp computers. It should also be noted that when a user logs in from a computer his settings and data are saved even if he logs in from another computer.
what should I do??

and what class of ip addresses should i give . max. num of computer be 10-12 . not more than that

I didnt paper cert mine, but these help, I could tell they were the same from the testing program, and only went over 20 over them. I got a 700.. lol

I had a sim where you had 2 network adapters. One was setup for the local network and the other was for the internet. You have to share the local one so they people can get on the internet. The server hosts a website through port 80 and you have to make sure that people can connect to it through the internet.

Microsoft has turned to be Hard to the 291 Examination and Even the Discount Vouchers are not much worthy. Furthermore the Examination vouchers last till 31 dec. So Microsoft is going to change the Simulation so as to keep up their MOney Stake High. This is probable cause as NO one wants to share Simulation. Only best Way is to Study and Practice VCE and become familiar with the question typos .Even the Training kit won't do any good as you can see other blogs . Dawn isn't giving me any new impression rather with the old pdf. I will stick with you guys keep on quoting some God will listen . Not the Microsoft

I actually paid 6 grand to learn the course. 2 people passed in my class with a 700 and a 730. Ive studied the whole course and labs over again and still dont know if im ready but ive already paid to retake it so im going to study everything I can, I was actually looks for helpful tips while studying and someone spammed links to these all over so I decided to check it out.

"A Windows Server 2003 named Sever 10 will have SUS installed on port 8253 and you need to configure all clients to receive all updates through group policy editor. Again it will take u to the gpo editor computer configuration.
answer) Here there are two settings that u need to enable. The first one is the automatic updates, enable that and set the drop to auto download and set the time to midnight. Then the second policy you need to look for is the location of update and make sure u enable and type the server url to be http://server10:8453 in both fields "

The port number in the question is 8253 and in the solved sim u have mentioned 8453. Is there a typing mistake there? or is it 8453 when ur solving the sim?
Plz help..i have a strong feeling that its a typing mistake buh ur comment on it will help me be sure as you have answered and passed with great marks.

cleared my exam today with 800+ . dump valid 100% . just go through the dump thoroughly ..
i got 5 sims n 1 drag n drop . (drag n drop in dump . configure the ip add, subnet , default gateway . dns n alternate dns)

sim1 : somethin wid david jones. simulations opens in delegation control wizaed. configure to add and remove user acc.

sim2: 2 subnets are their . ip address i dont rem . bt u hav to configure them so that from subnet2 u cannot access server1 in subnet 1 . both connected through a router

sim3: there given is tcp/ip properties, u jst hav to ocnfigure the subnet mask by lookin at the ip address.

sim4: i dont rem much but it said sumthin about manual authentication of ip address ?? somthing like that

last sim i cnt remember

Answer) In the DNS Properties window, click on the WINS Tab and enable it and then add the ip address 10.10.10.6 and then cick on the Add button. Then click OK. That's all

Just passed the 291 with 980. Total 53 question, 47 questions no drag and drop multiple choice only and six simulations. All questions are correct on this exam so study them good.

For the sims here is a brief synopsis of what you will be asked to do, if this helps:
1) Setup on Server 1 VPN to accept all connections from remote clients and other vpn servers.
Task - For that one, go ahead and just on the general tab enable Routing and Remote Access Server by putting a check mark there. The check mark is missing, that's all

2) Will be asked for a user from the sales ou (David Jones) to used delegation wizard and allow creating and deleting of users accounts from the OU. The good news is that the simulation starts with the wizard
answer) So all you have to do is click on Advanced, add David Jones and then select only the first option "Create, delete and manage users" That's it click next, click finish and move on
